**by 白樸//Bai, Pu (1226-1306 AD) also named Bai Renfu (白仁甫), a renowned playwright and poet, considered to be one of the Four Great Playwrights Yuan Dynasty (the the Mongol Mongol Empire 1271-1368 AD.) He is known for writing 16 plays which contained finest poetry in Chinese drama plays. Poets, such as him, composed these characters (lyrics) in a rhythm of song which can be sang. Think of them as kind of "Broadway" plays.
